A great day it turned out to be, with the weather holding, and staying dry for the majority of the event, although a few drops of rain fell, it never came to anything. Hats off to all the competitors in the Annual Marykirk Raft Race, proceeds to charity, for navigating the river, through the shallow, fast flowing section near the Train Bridge to the finish. They came from all over the local area, dressed in their fancy costumes, with paddles in hand. Events in the afternoon included Line Dancing, a Dog Show, and Live Bands.

Apologies to all for lack of photographic activity over the last few months, this will continue for another month or so until our new build house is ready to occupy, we are currently living in our static caravan.
This time is however being used to further enhance our websites, blogs and find new photographic inspirational ideas.
I am sure it will all be worth it in the end………..

Well did not manage any events at weekend due to pc & car problems :(

Hopefully all is fixed now all in time for trip to Speyside for a wee break, hope to capture many images, and varying the styles / subjects.

Will be posting a few on here soon.

This weeks image was taken at the Highland Hare N Hounds Event, it is generally a lengthened motocross track to enable endurance racing. It is open to all classes from Quads to motocross. The main event for riders / teams is the 3 hour endurance race with pit stops for cleaning and re-fueling and also changing riders (team only).
